Support Groups in Southwest Virginia

Health Focus provide facilities and services for several support groups in the Roanoke Valley.

If you or a loved one are affected by a condition or situation, support from others is a valuable asset in coping and recovery. Our current line-up of support groups addresses a wide variety of conditions:

Roanoke Anxiety and Depressive Disorders (RADD)

Group meets weekly on Tuesday evenings 7:30 – 8:45 pm at Health Focus. This is a self help group for those dealing with anxiety and depression. It has been in existence for over 20 years.  There is no need to register, no charge for attending and you can come to any meeting. Call 540-444-2925, Ext.200 for more info.

Single Again

Group meets biweekly at Health Focus Monday evenings at 7:15 pm.  A self help group for men and women of all ages going through a separation or divorce who need guidance with the challenges of starting a new life as a single person. The class discusses the book Rebuilding When your Relationship Ends by Dr. Bruce Fisher.  There is no charge for the class but it is recommended that the book be purchased for $14.00.  One can join at any time and books are available at class.
